At the foot of the Palais des festivals et des congrès, just like the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, the Cannes Chemin des Étoiles pays tribute to the stars of the silver screen.

Jean-Paul Belmondo came to Cannes in 1974 to show the film Stavisky in the official competition and in 1988 for the 41st edition of the Cannes Festival. In 2011 he was awarded an honorary Palme d'Or at the 64th edition of the Festival.
